Privacy policy

სამწუხაროდ, ამ გვერდზე არ ყოფილა თარგმნა თქვენს ენაზე არ არის.

This Privacy Policy has been accepted by Advisor.Travel administration and first published in May 2009.

This document was amended on 05 October 2021.

Briefly about Privacy

If you are just browsing our Site and reading articles then we will log as much data as any average server on the Internet.

To edit or otherwise contribute to Advisor.Travel community you have to be a registered user. Any contribution you do or change, including articles, reviews, discussions, personal pages and other text and multimedia information, to Advisor.Travel will be stored as long as business need dictates it (see below for a Data Deletion Policy).

We do not sell or rent your nonpublic information, nor do we give it to others to sell you anything. We use it to figure out how to make the Advisor.Travel more engaging and accessible, to see which ideas work, to make the Advisor.Travel Site better for you.

Details

Contributing to Advisor.Travel and public information

When you make any contribution to Advisor.Travel Site, including uploading multimedia files, you are creating a permanent, public record of every piece of content added, removed, or altered by you. The page history will show when your contribution or deletion was made, as well as your username (if you are signed in) or your IP address (if you are not signed in). We may use your public contributions, either aggregated with the public contributions of others or individually, to create new features or data-related products for you or to learn more about how the Site is used.

Unless this Policy says otherwise, you should assume that information that you actively contribute, including personal information, is publicly visible and can be found by search engines. Like most things on the Internet, anything you share may be copied and redistributed throughout the Internet by other people. Please do not contribute any information that you are uncomfortable making permanently public, like revealing your real name or location in your contributions.

You should be aware that specific data made public by you or aggregated data that is made public by us can be used by anyone for analysis and to infer information about users, such as which country a user is from, political affiliation, and gender.

User's identity

To edit or otherwise contribute to Advisor.Travel community you have to be a registered user. By doing this you will create a permanent link between you and your user account and we will be able to identify you. You are free to use your real name (if you wish) or nickname as a public username.

If you will use Advisor.Travel Site as a guess we will identify you by your IP address. The IP address is a certain set of numbers which identify your computer on the Internet. Depending on the connection type you are using to access the Internet, IP address can be tracked to a large ISP or even your office, education institution or home. There is a possibility that your IP address and your contributions and interests would make it possible to identify you.

It could be both difficult or easy for a certain person over the Internet to figure out the connection between IP address and personality. If you are very concerned about your privacy you should register an account on Advisor.Travel as we do not display registered users' IPs.

Your IP address can be disclosed to third persons in case of vandalism executed using it or any other abuses. In all cases, your IP address will be stored on Advisor.Travel servers for a relatively short time and can be accessed by developers and service owners or users who have been granted the level of Site Superuser.

If you are accessing Advisor.Travel Site using the computer in your office, educational institution or home, it could be rather simple for your ISP, employer or network administrator to find all contributions you've made, all marked by your IP address. In this case, it would be much more secure to do it being a registered user. However, do not forget to log out.

Certain data regarding your visits of Advisor.Travel Site can be retrieved from some external sources like your ISP servers and proxies. In this case, your Internet provider would be able to store such information.

Cookies

Most websites on the Internet, including Advisor.Travel, installs special temporary files called Cookies on your computer when you are accessing the Site. If you have no intention to ever log in or register you may deny these cookies but without them, you will not be able to log in and use some of its features. In this case, all the information will be deleted when you close your browser session.

When you log in, some additional cookies may be installed to identify you on your next visit for up to 365 days. You can delete them at the end of the session if you are using a public computer and do not wish to expose your username to the next users of the computer (in this case, you also need to clear your browser's cache).

Passwords

Password is the only thing that guarantees your privacy on Advisor.Travel Site. We recommend every user use a long and complicated password and never publish or otherwise publicly display it.

Our staff will never ask you about your password!
